FOCUS AREA: BUSINESS & SOCIAL WELFARE 

Michael is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare and a minor in Education. He previously served four years on active duty with the US Marine Corps as an enlisted Sergeant and section leader for a Marine infantry battalion, including multiple tours at sea and overseas duty assignments. He has earned 13 individual military awards for exemplary leadership and commitment to duty, as well as the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholarship at UC Berkeley, the most prestigious scholarship awarded by the University of California. He has internship experience with several veteran resource groups, a boutique financial advisory firm, and a top investment bank. He plans to utilize his experiences to pursue a career with a high social impact.
