Nicholas Mancini

FOCUS AREA: NATIONAL SECURITY 

Nick enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantryman shortly following his graduation from high school. Nick deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where he earned The Combat Infantryman Badge, The Army Commendation Medal, and The Army Achievement Medal. His experiences abroad afforded him a global perspective with unparalleled ability to adapt in new environments, and would ultimately serve as the foundation for his career interests in counterterrorism. Currently, Nick attends Columbia University, where he has sought different activities to sustain his rhythm of growth as a professional. They include, becoming a Presidential Member of Sigma Alpha Pi, a Leadership Honor Society; and a division I varsity athlete for Columbia’s men’s lightweight rowing team.
